Laser equipment is widely used with water-cooled plates. In our current life, the application of laser equipment is very broad, including laser marking, laser cutting, and laser welding in industrial electronics. Additionally, in the medical field, laser equipment is also widely used, such as in dental laser treatment devices, laser eyebrow removal devices, and laser skin rejuvenation devices, which greatly facilitate our lives.

Whether in industrial or medical sectors, the use of laser equipment has significantly contributed to social development. However, despite having advanced technology, users and producers face some minor issues, particularly the critical problem of heat dissipation. Since laser equipment generates a lot of heat during prolonged use, managing heat dissipation is essential.

For example, a semiconductor laser with 50W requires a cooling device with a cooling capacity of over 1200W. Air-cooled radiators dissipate heat through air flow, with a heat transfer coefficient of 20-100W/㎡·K under forced convection. In contrast, water has a heat transfer coefficient of 1000-15000W/㎡·K, meaning that water transfers heat several times more effectively than air at the same temperature and area. To achieve the same cooling efficiency with air cooling, one would need to increase the fan speed, which also increases noise. Therefore, from both a professional perspective and the trend of cooling solutions, choosing a water-cooled radiator is a better option for laser equipment.
