Air-cooled radiators dissipate heat through air flow, with a heat transfer coefficient of 20-100W/㎡·K under forced convection. In contrast, water has a heat transfer coefficient of 1000-15000W/㎡·K, meaning that water transfers heat several times more effectively than air at the same temperature and area. To achieve the same cooling efficiency with air cooling, one would need to increase the fan speed, which also increases noise. Therefore, from both a professional perspective and the trend of cooling solutions, choosing a water-cooled radiator is a better option for laser equipment.
