The In-Row (Cabinet-type) CDU is a core liquid cooling solution developed by Lori Technology for high-density liquid-cooled data centers. Designed specifically for cold plate liquid-cooled servers—including high-density GPU AI servers and high-performance computing servers—this in-row cooling distribution unit delivers coolant to multiple IT racks via row-level piping and rack manifold systems, handling tasks such as coolant distribution, temperature regulation, pressure control, and flow monitoring. The cooling equipment features a dual-pump 1+1 redundant design, with two main pumps operating in a rotating cycle that supports customizable rotation intervals. In the event of a single pump failure, the system automatically switches to the backup pump, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the cooling system. Utilizing an internal recirculation architecture, the coolant flows through server cold plates to absorb heat load, undergoes heat exchange and cooling, and then circulates continuously, enabling stable operation of high-power AI/GPU equipment.
